The Scottish Genealogy Network will usually meet on the last Saturday of each month at various venues across the country, though dates will occasionally vary. Where possible we will try to include an additional activity prior to the meeting, such as an archive or library visit, to help members with continuous professional development.

The following are the provisional meeting dates and thoughts for the next few months, all are subject to venue confirmation.

Friday 18 September 2020

Once again we are holding a virtual meeting via Zoom. The meeting will begin with a presentation by Michelle Brock and Chris Langley: ‘Mapping the Archival Footprints of Scotland’s Ministers’. We will discuss their project, then have a general Scottish genealogy chat, possibly breaking into smaller groups to share ideas on the challenges of working as professional genealogists during the COVID pandemic.
